Elementary Math

Number sense, fact fluency, and fractions - built on confidence, not tears.

Students in grades K–5, whether they are racing ahead or quietly falling behind. Many families come to Math Doctor when homework has started to end in frustration - or when a child has decided they are simply “not a math person.”

Middle School Math

The bridge years - ratios, integers, and the habits that make algebra easy later.

Students in grades 6–8 facing the leap from arithmetic to abstract thinking. This is the stage where small gaps become big problems, and where confidence is won or lost.

Pre-Algebra

Variables, integers, and order of operations - the launchpad for Algebra I.

Students typically in grades 7–8 preparing for Algebra I, and adults returning to math after time away. Pre-Algebra is where math stops being about numbers alone and starts being about ideas.

Algebra I

Linear equations to quadratics - plus Florida B.E.S.T. EOC preparation.

High school students in Algebra I, eighth graders accelerating early, and anyone facing Florida’s Algebra 1 EOC - a graduation requirement that deserves serious preparation.

Geometry

Proofs, triangles, and circles - taught by someone who wrote the notes herself.

High school Geometry students - often strong algebra students blindsided by proofs - and anyone preparing for Florida’s Geometry EOC.

Algebra II

Functions, logarithms, and imaginary numbers - the biggest jump in high school math.

Algebra II and Honors Algebra II students, and college students in Intermediate or College Algebra. This course moves faster and goes deeper than anything before it.

Precalculus

Functions, vectors, and the unit circle - the on-ramp to Calculus.

Precalculus and AP Precalculus students, dual-enrollment students, and anyone who wants Calculus to feel like a step instead of a cliff.

Trigonometry

The unit circle, identities, and sinusoids - finally made visual.

Students in standalone Trigonometry courses, Precalculus students deep in the trig units, and SAT/ACT students who keep losing points on right-triangle trig.

Statistics

Data, probability, and the normal curve - math you read as much as compute.

AP Statistics students, college statistics students, and adults facing a stats requirement. Statistics rewards careful reading as much as calculation - a different muscle from algebra.

Calculus

Limits, derivatives, and AP Calculus - from a teacher’s teacher.

AP Calculus AB students, college Calculus I students, and ambitious Precalculus students looking ahead. Calculus is the summit of high school math - and Dr. Cheryl wrote Nifty Notes for the trail.
